I am an associate professor at the Strategy and Innovation Department at Copenhagen Business School. My research leverages computational social science methods—including natural language processing and causal inference with large-scale registry and digital trace data—to open the black box of how competition and collaboration shape individual and organizational outcomes. Across studies on peer dynamics in online communities, rivalry and sabotage in repeated contests, tax evasion in the platform economy, and the performance effects of competition, I uncover mechanisms that are rarely observable with conventional approaches. I also teach classes on digital innovation, AI, new product development, and entrepreneurship.
Before joining CBS, I did my PhD at the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization at WU Vienna.
